Providing teachers with high-quality instructional materials to lessen their burden of implementation will empower teachers to teach about climate change and in turn, empower students to take climate action. A social-emotional perspective is also important because, as teachers, we need to model how to emotionally manage climate change so that students are not overpowered by the knowledge but are empowered by the knowledge.
