In this Mexican classroom students are organised into a large U-shape orientation where the teacher moves between the students to monitor their work and provide feedback. The class are trying to represent quadratic equations visually and solve them. Some students are finding this challenging and the teacher offers careful feedback, patiently modelling how to approach the problem and checking that students are understanding, before offering more feedback. Whilst monitoring the whole classroom, she also returns to students who have been struggling.
